In this post, I will collect my notes on The Ride of a Lifetime by Bob Iger. I’ve made it a habit to read a couple of books related to management every year, and I found this one in the library of our small town, Balatonfüred. At the same time, I don’t think this is a classical management book, but rather a collection of stories from Iger’s life and how his experiences shaped him.

Let’s take a closer look at tech debt, its definition, purpose, approaches to tackle the issues with it and some ideas about measurement metrics. The goal is to have a more structured way to think about it.

Many times during interviews (or when talking about interviews), it has been mentioned that algorithmic complexity and Big O notation is only for university studies, plus you will almost never meet algorithms during your career, where it would be useful. Is that true?
